Gasoline is a type of fuel that we put in our cars to make them go. It’s made from things called oil and natural gas that come out of the ground.
First, workers go to places where there is oil and natural gas underground. They use special tools to take it out of the ground.
Then, they bring the oil and natural gas to a special place called a refinery. At the refinery, they use heat and chemicals to turn the oil and natural gas into different types of fuel, like gasoline.
Finally, the gasoline is put into big tanks and then transported to gas stations so you can fill up your car.
